ATB feat Heather Nova - Renegade Lyrics
Take care ’cause I’m coming in,
I see my shadow
and I don’t know when,
I’m alive with you
and it feels so true.
We don’t need shelter, only sky,
bring back the storms that made us high.
I’m alive with you.
Baby I’m a renegade like you,
baby I’m searching too,
I’ve been around the world,
now I’m running back to you.
Baby I’m a renegade like you,
baby I’m hurting too,
I’ve been around the world,
now I’m running back to you.
[BIS]
Sweetheart, this world it makes no sense,
no pot of gold, no innocence,
I’m alive with you.
We don’t need shelter, only sky,
bring back the storms that made us high.
But we’re alive.
Baby I’m a renegade like you,
baby I’m searching too,
I’ve been around the world,
now I’m running back to you.
Baby I’m a renegade like you,
baby I’m hurting too,
I’ve been around the world,
now I’m running back to you.
Run with me, we’ll take it all together,
run with me, cause you’re the one I need,
run with me, cause we won’t live forever,
run with me…
Baby I’m a renegade,
baby I’m a renegade,
baby I’m a renegade like you,
Run with me, we’ll take it all together.
run with me ’cause you’re the one I need.
run with me ’cause we won’t live forever.
run with me…
Baby I’m a renegade like you,
baby I’m searching too.
I’ve been around the world,
now I’m running back to you.
Baby I’m a renegade like you,
baby I’m hurting too.
I’ve been around the world,
now I’m running back to you.
Run with me, we’ll take it all together.
run with me ’cause you’re the one I need.
run with me ’cause we won’t live forever.
run with me…
Baby I’m a renegade,
baby I’m a renegade,
baby I’m a renegade like you.
Heather Nova was born on July 6, 1967 in her home country, Bermuda. Her mother is Canadian, and her father is a native Bermudian. Nova spent most of her childhood with her family (including one sister, television reporter Susannah, and one brother, reggae singer Mishka) on a 40 ft (12 m) boat built by her father, where the Friths spent most of 1970s and part of the 1980s, sailing throughout the Atlantic and Caribbean waters and coasts.
Over the years, Nova has written and recorded over 100 songs. With the release of South (2001), she returned to the international spotlight with an appearance on the soundtrack of the John Cusack movie Serendipity, a couple of music videos, and a collaboration with Swedish indiepop band Eskobar, for a song called "Someone New". Its music video, which proved so popular that it was played primarily on America's MTV, not just MTV2 (which is normally reserved for less-popular songs). Storm, Nova's fifth studio album, was released in late 2003 on Big Cat Records, as was her latest record Redbird, released in 2005.
In December 2005, Nova released Together As One, an EP supporting the Bermuda Sloop Foundation. The EP was only available in Bermuda shops and from the fan-run websites, HeatherNova.Net and HeatherNova.De.
In 2002, she self-published The Sorrowjoy, a 72-page book of her poetry and drawings. An album of the same name was released in March 2006, which featured Nova reading the poems from her book set to ambient music. The album has only been available for purchase at concerts beginning with the Intimate Evening tour, from the fan-run websites, HeatherNova.Net and HeatherNova.De, and from the official website, HeatherNova.Com.
She also collaborated with the German trance artist ATB on tracks like Love Will Find You and Renegade.
ATB - Ecstasy (Club Mix)
Have you ever noticed,
That I’m not acting as I used to do before?
Have you ever wondered,
Why I always keep on coming back for more?
What have you done to me,
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah (2)
Not that I’m complaining,
A more beautiful vision - I have never seen
If you don’t mind me saying,
A life of ambition to fulfill my dream
What have you done to me,
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah (2)
You really are my ecstasy,
(There can be no other
While we still have each other)
My real life fantasy, oh yeah (3)
Snap - I 've got the power - Speed Garage Remix
Written by Michael Muenzing and Luca Anzilotti under the pseudonyms Benito Benites and John "Virgo" Garrett III and produced by Snap!, the third single by the Frankfurt-based dance rap group was their biggest hit. Featuring a rap by Turbo B and vocals by Penny Ford (Jackie Harris in the video), the single became a massive international hit.
The song opens with the somewhat enigmatic line in Russian: “Американская фирма Transceptor Technologies приступила к производству компьютеров «Персонaльный спутник»” (meaning “The American company Transceptor Technologies has started production of the ‘Personal Companion’ computer”). “Personal Companion” was a computer-like device for the blind and visually impaired released in 1990, it was controlled by voice and could, among other functions, automatically download articles from USA Today by a built-in modem. It was made by Transceptor Technologies of Ann Arbor, Michigan. [1]
Gouryella - Gouryella (original mix)
Gouryella is a Dutch trance act comprising Ferry Corsten and DJ Tiësto. The word itself means "heaven" in an aborigine language. They are best known for the self-titled song "Gouryella" and the follow-up single "Walhalla"; both are regarded in the club circuit as all time classic trance songs.
First single, Gouryella, was released to enormous praise and contained remixes from DJ Gigilo and Armin van Buuren. Walhalla, also released in 1999, also featured a remix from Van Buuren, as well as Hybrid.
The release of Tenshi in 2000 saw a slightly different style in Gouryella's work and some fans say that the apparent move away from euphoric synth lines and towards an edgier electronic sound represented Tiësto's increasing influence. However, a stunning remix from Transa made sure it became a club classic. Tenshi CDM featured some remixes from Transa, ATB , Ratty (Scooter).
Ferry produced Ligaya in 2001. Paul van Dyk, Green Court and Airbase were among those providing remixes.
Gouryella remixed two tracks for other artists, both in 1999: Solange - Messages and Binary Finary - 1999.
Additionally, Corsten and Tiësto released two tracks under the name of Vimana. We Came was released as a single in 1999 and featured a B-Side called Dreamtime. At the time, neither of these tracks were deemed suitable for a release under the Gouryella name (whose style was for hardcore euphoric tracks), so a further alias was created.
There are currently no plans for another Gouryella release. But there are current rumors on the return of Gouryella. Tijs & Ferry have been seen DJing together from time to time, but nothing is confirmed yet.
John Shelvin - Temptation (John Creamer & Stephane K Remix)
John Creamer & Stephane K ft. Nadia Ali & Rosko - Something
John Creamer & Stephane K are international DJ's, and as a duo, a New York City-based electronic music and house music production team. They are perhaps best-known for creating original dance singles as well as dance remixes for artists such as iiO, Moby, New Order, Rosko and Sinéad O'Connor.[1]
In 2004, the duo created their own independent label for their voluminous output of original material, NY Love Records. The label was started in collaboration with another New York-based DJ/Producer who they discovered and helped rise up the ranks, Lance Jordan. [5] They began releasing dance singles through the label with a particular focus on developing singer/songwriters they were producing at the time. Among the most notable was Rosko, whose "Love Is A Drug" was another Billboard number one dance hit in America in 2005. They began collaborating more extensively with Rosko, and promoting their artists through a series of "NY Love Presents" parties, featuring live performances at the New York Super-Club Crobar, as well is in Miami at the Winter Music Conference.[6]
Their 2006 single "Something To Lose," was signed to Ultra Records and is a duet between Nadia Ali of iiO and Rosko, who were introduced to each other by John Creamer. Championed on the UK's BBC Radio 1 by influential DJ and tastemaker Pete Tong[7], this new record was quickly licensed to Roger Sanchez's "Release Yourself vol. 5," as well as to the Global Underground solo debut of DJ/Producer Sharam of the Grammy Award-winning duo Deep Dish, titled "Dubai."
Most recently, their label NY Love has been releasing new dance singles by the duo in 2007 including a dub remix of The Doors "Forget The World" featuring Jim Morrison on vocals, "Hi Hats Are Your Friends," "The Healing" which is co-produced with Lance Jordan and features vocals by Susana, "Thirsty" which is co-produced with Joeski and again features Rosko on vocals, and the tribal "Mustachios" which is a collaboration between Creamer and Jordan.
